Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

Leap of Faith Technologies Pvt Ltd. (“Leap of Faith”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to providing our clients with the highest quality IT services and products while adhering to all applicable laws and regulations in India. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which you, the client, may cancel or request a refund for services purchased or hardware products ordered from Leap of Faith.

2. Your Right to Cancel:

As per the Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to cancel your order for services within 7 days of placing the order with concrete reason. This applies to all Leap of Faith’s service offerings, including web development, learning management systems, UI/UX design, managed networking services, and digital marketing campaigns.

2.2 Hardware Products:
  • Unopened items: You may return any unopened item in its original packaging within 10 days of purchase for a full refund. Contact us via email support@leapoffaithtech.com.
  • Opened items: Opened items may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a store credit or exchange, subject to a 20% restocking fee. Ensure all original packaging and accessories are included.
  • Defective items: You may return any defective item within the manufacturer’s warranty period for a full refund or replacement.

3. Cancellation and Refund Eligibility:

3.1 Services:
  • Full Refund: You will receive a full refund if you cancel before any work has begun on your project.
  • Partial Refund: If work has started but is less than 25% complete, you will receive a partial refund proportionate to the uncompleted portion.
  • No Refund: No refunds will be offered once 25% or more of the project has been completed, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
3.2 Specific Service Policies:
3.2.1 Web Solutions:
  • Full Refund: Cancellation is possible before any development work has begun.
  • Partial Refund: Up to 50% refund is available if development work has started but is less than 25% complete.
  • No Refund: No refunds are offered after 25% of the project has been completed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.2.2 Learning Management:
  • Full Refund: Cancellation is possible before any development work has begun.
  • Partial Refund: Up to 75% refund is available if development work has started but is less than 50% complete.
  • No Refund: No refunds are offered after 50% of the project has been completed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.2.3 UI/UX Design:
  • Full Refund: Cancellation is possible before any design concepts are presented.
  • Partial Refund: Up to 50% refund is available if design concepts have been presented but not finalized.
  • No Refund: No refunds are offered after design concepts have been finalized and/or development has begun, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.2.4 Managed Networking Services & Digital Marketing:
  • Managed Networking Services: Cancellations before the completion of the service term will receive a pro-rated refund based on the remaining unused portion.
  • Digital Marketing Campaigns: Cancellations will receive a pro-rated refund based on the remaining unused portion of the campaign budget.
3.3 Hardware Products:

No refunds will be offered for hardware products returned after the applicable return period, except for defective items within the manufacturer’s warranty.

5. Exceptions:

This Refund and Cancellation Policy does not apply to the following:

5.1 Services:
  • Services purchased through third-party platforms or marketplaces.
  • Services delivered in full and on time as per your agreement.
  • Custom development projects with a written agreement specifying tailored work not eligible for cancellation.
5.2 Hardware Products:
  • Software or digital products downloaded after purchase.
  • Consumables and accessories like cables, adapters, etc.
  • Customized or specially ordered hardware configurations.

6. Cancellation Process:

  • Services: Follow the process outlined in Section 2.1.
  • Hardware Products: Contact us via email. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it back using a trackable method. We will process your return/exchange upon receipt and inspection.

7. Refund Processing:

Once your request is approved, we will process your refund within 15 business days, adhering to RBI regulations. Refunds may take additional time to appear in your account depending on your bank or financial institution.

8. Complaints:

If you have any complaints regarding your service, payment, or cancellation request, we encourage you to first attempt to resolve it with us directly. If you are still not satisfied, you have the right to file a complaint with the Consumer Affairs Department or other relevant regulatory authorities in SAS Nagar, Punjab, India.
